I have a BS degree in Biology. I worked as a Park Ranger while I was attending school. After graduating college, I worked as a petrochemical technician. I decided that I wanted to continue my education. I went back to school and obtained my master's in Environmental Engineering. I love the environment and I love to find solutions to the problems that our environment faces. While I was in school, I was able to study everything from ecology to biochemistry classes. I enjoyed chemistry and biology, but I wasn't absolutely amazing at these topics. It took me several semesters to learn and grow. I developed better study habits and found different ways to take the information my professors gave me and relate it to my own life. I think STEM is important and it should be a big part of education in schools. I would love to use my educational background and knowledge to help more students reach their goals.I can help tutor a wide range of subjects and also will work with students of all ages.When I'm not studying or tutoring, I like to spend time outdoors. I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and running. I also enjoy writing and playing my guitar.
