I am teaching and tutoring pathology/pathophysiology (introductory/basic and advanced level), pharmacology, advanced anatomy and physiology, pathogenic microbiology and clinical research (quantitative and qualitative designs) for all healthcare professional students on baccalaureate, master, doctoral and postdoctoral level for 25+ years. My students were/are pre-med. school students, nursing students (RN and BSN, MSN, DNS), med. school students (MD), pharmacy students (Pharm.D), advanced nursing students such as nurse practitioners (NP), nurse anesthetists (CRNA), residents in pharmacy and residents in medicine. In my teaching/instructing and tutoring, I am using active learning methods and techniques such as case studies, case series, patient simulation, developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning skills.
